The Federal Council have voted the sum of

$135,000 for the preparation of an aerodrome at

Port Swettenham.

This aerodrome, which is intended for the

Singapore Calcutta Route, will be a thousand

yards square, but to start with will only be 1,000

The aerodrome at Alor Star and Taiping

are expected to be the ones which will actually be

used in the Air Route from Europe.
